Types of Overhead Storage

Practical Overhead Storage
Overhead storage needs to be designed so it is practical. If you have two feet or more above your garage door, overhead storage makes a lot of sense there. Hang the overhead storage racks just high enough that the door misses them. When loading overhead garage storage racks that are above an operable door, only load them with items that are securely stowed in bins or quality boxes.
