Garage Floor Tiles are a very popular garage flooring solution. One constant source of confusion for customers who don’t get the industry lingo is how you lay the tiles out. Standing outside the garage looking in, you want a flat side towards you and a flat side to the left. A loop side will point into the garage and to the right. You will maintain that orientation for the entire installation.
Remember to work from the door back and from left to right. Remember to leave a 1/4″ to 1/2″ gap between all tiles and edge pieces and all walls and doors. On a side note, when the tiles are properly locked together you would not see the loops. They are shown this way for illustration.
