Good — Better — Best — Garage Floor Tiles
We have been explaining the differences between garage floor tiles for years. Today I listened to a newer employee explain it so perfectly, that we were instantly able to sketch out a graphic to explain. Within about 2 hours of first hearing it, the graphic went live on our website. It is truly the best possible, short explanation of our garage tiles.
Good: TrueLock Diamond. American Made. 5 Year warranty.
Better: And best value for most of our customers. TrueLock HD
Best: RaceDeck…. Certain applications call for the toughest tile around. RaceDeck is it.

Hi Justin,
I have installed 6000 sq' of [brand omitted] flooring and have had issues where a wide tire sitting on the surface of a [brand omitted] floor pulled the tiles out completely. It is installed correctly but have noticed the same issue occurs when doing sharp turns with SUV's. We have seen this with parking SUV's, Lamborgini's, even Viper's all have done this. I have heard using a larger tile may be better in preventing this because the tire doesn't cover the entire tile. I'm about to buy enough tiles to cover 17,560 sq feet from [brand omitted](15.75" tile which is thicker solid [brand omitted]) and was wondering what you thought. I have seen other issues where the sun hitting the tile at the garage entrance areas causes warpage of tile. We cut the tiles allowing for expansion but it still does it even with the corner tiles cut back allowing for expansion. I have heard placing ribbed tiles in the first few rows would prevent this along with doing the expansion corners. Anyways [brand omitted] has been very poor in responding and [brand omitted] is trying to help. We do place lift racks directly on the tiles and they have supported them fine with no issues, so the new tile must be a tile that can take compression. The 3rd issue however is the price of both of these tile companies vs who is the best tile to buy. Is there another tile option or company at a lower price that meets or exceeds their specs?
