Concrete Densifiers & Garage Floor Sealer

What would Justin use? For a penetrating garage floor sealer that protects against oil stains, Ghostshield 8510 is hands down the best penetrating garage floor sealer we have ever seen. For a simple densifier and sealer TL39 is a very strong choice.

Justin Says: “It’s important to understand that penetrating sealers and densifiers do not change the look of your concrete. The leave no film on top of the concrete and this makes them the ideal choice for a floor that will be exposed to welding slag. While densifiers help with moisture wicking from below; our sealers and densifiers are not negative side waterproofing products. They protect from the surface down. They are not designed to keep water from coming in from below.

Concrete densifiers are quickly becoming the sealer of choice for garage, commercial and industrial floors. They permanently densify concrete, adding abrasion resistance which reduces the ability of water to travel. A stain guard and water repellent can be added to the product. Concrete densifiers can be used in a grind and polish application.

Acrylic Sealers can be used over bare concrete or concrete that has been stained. We offer multiple types of acrylic sealer, all of which exhibit varying levels of gloss. These sealers also act as a water repellant and are often used as the last step in concrete stain systems. Acrylic sealers do require some floor prep.
