Lithi-Tek LS 9500 is a simple and effective way to densify and waterproof interior or exterior concrete. Extremely popular for driveways and sidewalks as well as garages and basements when oil stains are not a primary concern. For best results, two coats are suggested. If Oil Stains are a primary concern the Ghostshield 8505 is a better choice. Ghostshield 8500 may be a better choice for customers in a Freeze Thaw area with no concerns of oil stains.

Lithi-Tek LS is a penetrating densifier and sealer in a single application. Unlike surface treatments, densifiers permanently change the structure of your concrete while our waterproofers penetrate deep into the concrete to repel from within. It does not change to look or gloss of your concrete.

No one product is perfect for every application. Lithi-TEK 9500 is our best all-in-one product and is good for basic densification and waterproofing. If your concrete is subject to Freeze Thaw GhostShield 8500 is a better choice. If your concrete is subject to Oil Stains, GhostShield 8505 will waterproof, protect from oil stains and also protect from freeze-thaw.

Do It Once, Do It Right

Based on ASTM test results shown above, our product will out last and out perform other products on the market. While it may be slightly more expensive, over the course of your ownership of the home, it is considerably less expensive than products that must be applied year after year.

Why

Concrete repair is expensive. Lithi-Tek LS 9500 is an industrial strength densifer, waterproofer and vapor barrier that when properly installed can repel up to 99% of moisture and keep it from penetrating your concrete where it can cause extensive damage. It is proven to increase the strength of concrete while making your concrete easier to clean and less likely to experience micro organism growth. Breathable so moisture in your concrete can get out. Works to reduce efflorescence, vapor transmission and hydrostatic pressure.

Warranty

Backed by an impressive and perhaps unheard of 100 year warranty, direct from the manufacturer. A copy of the warranty will be made available on request. Like all warranties, it does not cover every circumstance, but it is the best we have seen for this type of product.

Where to Use It

There are countless applications. This product is often used in garages and on driveways and sidewalks as well as basement floors and walls. It won’t work as a negative side waterproofing product but it helps to seal pores and reduce capillary action. Ideal for new or old concrete in vertical or horizontal applications but not suggested for brick, concrete block or cinder block. Commonly used in industrial and commercial applications where a full fledged coating is not practical.

Precautions Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. No respirator is needed when applying this product. Wash hands after use and do not take internally. Please refer to the product Material Data Safety Sheet (MSDS) before using.Preparation The preparation process should be followed to ensure adequate penetration and optimum performance. The concrete substrate must be structurally sound, thoroughly dry and clean. Remove all paints, sealers and/or adhesives before application. The substrate must be clean of oil, grease, dirt, wax, curing compounds, efflorescence and other contaminants that might interfere with the penetration of the sealer. If acid is used to clean the concrete, neutralize the surface completely and rinse it with water prior to application. New concrete must be cured at least 28 days.Application Test the sealer in an inconspicuous area to ensure the desired coverage and appearance is achieved. Make sure the entire surface is completely dry and free of dust, dirt and debris. The surface-zone moisture content of the concrete should not exceed 4 wt%. Cover all surrounding areas not intended to be coated. Stir the material before using. Apply with a low pressure, high volume pump sprayer, brush or roller. Apply until the surface is saturated but not to the point of puddling. Do not over-apply. If over-spray occurs it should be cleaned and removed immediately after sealing. Apply two coats wet-on-wet to ensure complete coverage. Please note: Lithi-Tek® LS 9500 is a concentrated solution that needs to be reconstituted with water prior to application. 4 parts water to 1 part Lithi-Tek® LS 9500. Roll or broom out any puddles until the sealer penetrates into the substrate.
