“Just have to say…your mat is awesome. I know I told you it was good but it really has been a relief. I have a 1 car garage and live in Buffalo. The snow, sludge for the last few months had made the kids and I miserable. It would soak the garage floor, everything that was in it, and we always had to put boots on just to run into the garage to grab something, track through deep water and then bring it in the house… The mat contains it ALL now and we just know to walk around the mat to get whatever we need. The best part, we can just go in the garage in our socks and also it’s not tracked all through the house… Again, love the product, thanks. I have recommended this already to everyone I know that parks in their garage and doesn’t have a drain like they should…(which seems no one up here does have a drain in their garage)…
Also, you have been amazing at answering my questions, shipping, etc… Thanks!” – Karlene
Snow, Water Mud, And More
Everything you drag into your garage falls off your car and onto the floor. The TruContain® mat catches all of it. Compare carpet mats, containment mats and PVC mats.
No Assembly Required
The TruContain® garage containment mats are heavy-duty mats that require no assembly and are made to protect your garage floor. This water containment product is not your typical lightweight mat with snap-on edges. TruContain® contains a heat welded fabric with built-in edges. Please note all sizes are approximate and may vary slightly. This same material is used by the trucking industry and now it is available for use in your own garage. TruContain® is made with higher quality and heavier fabric than our nearest competitor.
TruContain® Tall Edges
We use 1.18″ edges. Once wrapped with the base material, they are nearly 1.25″ high.
Easy to Clean & Store
Cleaning is simple. If you have a helper, have one person stand on the front edge and use a push broom to sweep everything out. No helper? No Problem! Just use a good wet-dry vacuum. What about storage? Clean it, let it dry, roll it up, and save it for later. Try doing that with snap-on edges.
Heavy Duty Option
While our standard TruContain is sufficient for most of our customers, we now offer the TruContain HD. It is even thicker and stronger than the original. Perfect for garages off of gravel roads and driveways. For a little perspective, a standard grade 18′ mat weighs 26 pounds (shipping weight) while an HD mat is over 40 pounds.
Light But Tough Containment Mat
Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too? The TruContain® Products are generally under 25 pounds (exact weight varies based on size) but that is 25 pounds of PVC impregnated material originally designed for protecting industrial over-the-road loads. We have literally sold thousands of these products and have had very very few returns and almost no damage. In fact, the demand in Canada is so high we had to launch a separate site just to handle those sales.
The trick is in the material. Yes, we know it looks like a tarp. Guess what. It kind of is. But not the kind of tarp you are thinking of. It is constructed of a high-end truck tarp material that is heat welded and wrapped around a closed-cell foam edge. The material has been tested in high abuse environments for decades and now three years plus in garages from Alaska to Canada and Michigan to New York. The TruContain® product is a slightly heavier product in gray color.
Containment Mat Packaging
Because this mat requires no assembly, it cannot be shipped rolled. It is shipped boxed and will have creases and folds. This relaxes over time but you can use the product immediately.
For the newest model of TruContain, released in December 2020, the glossy side of the mat goes down. We are also including 4 self-adhesive corners with every containment mat as well as a squeegee head. Our squeegee head is intended to fit a standard handle, so one is not included — we were not impressed with the telescoping ones we tested. Our containment mats continue to feature high-end rigid foam edges as opposed to the squishy absorbent product featured in other brands. Note that on the new mats, when the glossy side is down, the weld or seam will be up.
The Best Containment Mat, not the Cheapest
Don’t settle for squishy, untested, water-absorbing edges that are almost guaranteed to fail. We continue to use our proven, dense foam for our edging. Our edges don’t break, guaranteed. Our edges also don’t absorb water — which could lead to mold and mildew. The difference between inexpensive products and our containment mats is often $20-$30. You get a warranty that is four times longer than our biggest competitor. You get a heavier weight and an attractive color and pattern. You even get coverage against abuse — see warranty for details. We are now offering TruContain® HD for customers who want the ultimate containment mat. Learn more about what separates Trucontain from the competition.
We understand that as an industry leader, we have a target on our back. We will never speak negatively about our competition, but we will point out the advantages of our product. TruContain outsells the competition drastically. TruContain is stocked in regional warehouses nationwide for fast delivery. Our HD standard product is heavier than the ‘HD” product offered by others. We offer a warranty and out-of-warranty assistance that is second to none. Even if you damage a mat, we help you replace it — see warranty documents for details.
Why TruContain® Containment Mats?
Heavier. Better Looking. Better Warranty. Ripped mat replacement program. Attractive gray color. All Weather Floors took features of the most popular containment mats and combined them into a single garage mat that we believe will be the hands-down best-selling product of its type on the market. We started with a one-piece, no assembly required platform. We used a slightly heavier and more durable fabric. We also changed the color to gray. Then they backed it up with a limited one year warranty. The warranty even includes provisions for discounted exchanges on mats that are damaged and would not normally be covered at all. Again TruContain® is not related to AutoFloorGuard® in any way.
